Biography
Alexia Nelson is an attorney who zealously advocates for policyholders in the practice of insurance litigation. Alexia is licensed to practice in Texas and brings a unique perspective as an African-American woman from Memphis, Tennessee.
Alexia earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Economics from Howard University in Washington, D.C. Empowered by her desire to advocate for others, she pursued her Juris Doctor degree at Baylor Law School. At Baylor Law, Alexia served as the President of the Black Law Students Association and expanded her legal education by representing the Baylor Law Moot Court team and Baylor Law Mock Trial team in competitions. During her legal education, Alexia worked as a federal judicial intern, law clerk, and student advocate in Baylor Law’s legal clinics.
Alexia combines her dedication to helping others with her meticulous work ethic to achieve the results that clients are entitled to. She understands that each client is unique and upholds their individualized needs and concerns in every case. In addition to her practice, Alexia commits herself to staying updated on industry trends and changes that may impact clients.
When Alexia is not practicing law, she enjoys quality time with her family and friends, trying new restaurants, and traveling the world. Alexia’s well-rounded approach to advocacy allows her to deliver the quality of service clients expect while connecting personally.
