Biography
Karen Satriano is a firm administrator for Daly & Black, P.C. Her exceptional organizational skills and keen eye for detail, along with her love for managing projects from initiation to completion, make her a key team player. She believes it is important to support the attorneys while at the same time providing help and care to the clients. She is excited to be on this journey and is glad to have found an environment in which everyone works together to create positive outcomes.
Before joining Daly & Black, P.C., Karen had a diverse array of work experiences. She began her career as a legal secretary for Fulbright & Jaworski, one of the largest law firms in the United States. She also had the opportunity to work at Reynolds, Allen & Cook, where she played a crucial role in the successful launch of a nationally recognized bond practice in a highly competitive community. Karen continued her passion for the public finance sector at Mayor Day & Caldwell, where her skills were put to good use in the expanding practice of public finance. She then broadened her horizons by venturing into the field of investment banking, working as an office manager at a regional firm, Geo. K. Baum & Co. However, the highlight of her legal career was working in the City Attorney’s office for the City of Houston. There, she had the opportunity to interface with many leaders and citizens of our great city.
Karen is a long-time resident of Houston and enjoys all the city has to offer. You will find her every weekend on her road bike discovering new bike trails in and around Houston. When she is not biking or practicing yoga, she is playing with her beloved dog, Barkley.
Karen’s other interests include health and well-being. Among her various career choices, she owned and operated a Pilates, Gyrotonic, and Yoga studio in Southern California and currently enjoys teaching yoga here in Houston. She has a passion for empowering others to find what is possible on and off their mat and is committed to bringing the same empowerment to the clients at Daly & Black, P.C.
