Biography

Thomas Reagor is an attorney at Daly & Black, P.C., where he focuses his practice on personal injury litigation. He brings to his practice a commitment to service, careful preparation, and determined advocacy for individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.

Thomas graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in International Studies and a minor in Philosophy. Before law school, Thomas taught English and English as a Second Language to high school students from around the world. He also volunteered as an English teacher for immigrants in the Houston area and traveled twice to San Raymundo, Guatemala, with Refuge International, where he used his Spanish as a medical translator and assisted surgeons during medical missions.

Thomas later attended the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and developed his skills as both a writer and an advocate. During law school, Thomas sought opportunities to learn advocacy from different sides of the courtroom. He worked in the Office of General Counsel to the Governor of Texas, assisting with legal research and preparation for arguments before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He later served with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in its Special Victims Unit, worked in the chambers of U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew M. Edison in the Southern District of Texas, and joined the Department of Justice in its Narcotics Division. Those experiences sharpened his skills as a researcher, writer, and advocate and taught him to approach complex legal problems from every angle.

For Thomas, personal injury law also carries a deeply personal meaning. Shortly after he graduated from Texas A&M, his close friend and fellow Aggie Victoria Solarek was killed in a car crash while returning home from a family vacation. She was only 20 years old, and her parents were killed alongside her. The loss gave Thomas a lasting perspective on what catastrophic accidents mean beyond the facts of a case: behind every accident are real people, families, and futures that were changed without warning.

Thomas brought that perspective and his commitment to advocacy to Daly & Black. He understands that no lawsuit can undo a serious injury or the loss of someone a family loves. But an attorney can make sure a client’s story is heard, demand accountability from those responsible, and fight to secure the resources a family needs to move forward. Thomas strives to do exactly that for every client he represents.
